All 20,000 customers reconnected after Storm Dudley
All properties that lost power due to Storm Dudley have been reconnected, Northern Powergrid has confirmed.
More than 20,000 customers across north-east England were affected when the strong winds hit on Wednesday afternoon into Thursday, which led to an amber weather warning,
However, the firm has warned people to prepare for the onslaught of Storm Eunice, which is set to hit the North East of England on Friday.
"Those high winds, combined with snowfall in some parts of the region do have the potential to cause some damage, so there is a relatively high likelihood that there will be some disruption to power supplies," Northern Powergrid said.
"Currently our best view is that we will start to see an impact in the late morning."
