BBC Radio NewcastleDurham have at least avoided their lowest score against Somerset, which incidentally was 116 in a narrow win in Chester-le-Street in 2013.
For a long while today it didn't look like they would reach three figures, as Craig Overton ran through them, taking 6-17 as the visitors struggled on a green top in Taunton.
Twice he was on a hat-trick, bowling a nagging length which left a few of the batters unsure what the best way forward was.
Alex Lees had offered resistance until he tried to smash Overton into the graveyard and instead got a nasty top-edge which steepled up and back to the bowler when he was on 27.
It was an awful shot, but he'd obviously decided to throw caution to the wind. Ben Raine then made 42 and Neil Wagner 24.
I am not sure what to make of the track. I think it is a bit sticky and that is catching the players out, however some of the shots we have seen have been really poor too.
Maximum bowling points came after 27.4 overs. It will be interesting to see how Somerset cope with the bat.

BBC Radio NewcastleWe have only had nine overs so far in Taunton, amid the showers, but that's been enough for Somerset to take three wickets. And it should have been four!
You have to strike while the iron's hot with this Kookaburra ball and Somerset put Durham in - on a green top - and did just that.
Craig Overton was on a hat-trick in the sixth over after he got Emilio Gay for 10 and Colin Ackermann first ball, both caught in the slips.
David Bedingham saw off the hat-trick ball but then fell in Lewis Gregory's first over when he edged to the 'keeper on one.
That brought Ollie Robinson to the middle. He should have gone for a second ball duck, but Overton dropped him at second slip off Gregory's bowling.
Then it rained and they all went off again. It's now chucking it down!
