The one wicket to fall since lunch saw Liam Dawson bowled by Matty Potts on 25. Potts has taken 3-42 in 17 overs. He is bowling a really good spell and looks more than up for the task in hand. He looks quick today as well.

The follow-on target, which I am not sure would be enforced, is 362.

We were wondering how this game would move on today, because it's been a good track for runs so far, despite it being a used wicket.

However, Durham have managed to take two early wickets. Mark Stoneman was caught behind off Matty Potts when he was on 57. That ended a partnership with Nick Gubbins which was worth 105.

Tom Prest then made a brief appearance in the middle before being caught behind as he tried to cut a delivery from left-arm spinner Callum Parkinson. He was out for one.

It certainly feels a lot fresher in Southampton today. It is breezy and cooler than yesterday, but the sun is still shining.

Graham Clark's long stay at the crease has finally come to an end - after around six and a half hours.

He came in yesterday at 13:54 BST and has just fallen for 160, the victim of a brilliant piece of reactionary fielding from bowler Liam Dawson. Clark thought he'd driven Dawson towards the boundary but the bowler dived into the air to snatch the ball one-handed as it was passing over his head.

It's the batsman's highest score. When he came in Durham were 82-4. When he left the field they were 453-8.

He put on partnerships of 124 for the fifth wicket with Ollie Robinson and 163 for the sixth with George Drissell. That was a record sixth wicket stand for Durham against Hampshire.

If nothing else, they appear to be in a position where they can't lose, but taking 20 wickets on a track as flat as this one may take some doing. And it's a used track as well!

Graham Clark and George Drissell are continuing to build their partnership in Southampton.

At 152 it's nearly a record sixth wicket stand for Durham against Hampshire. The target to beat is the 156 put on by Dale Benkenstein and Ben Harmison in CLS in 2007.
