I can't believe how this game has run away from Durham this afternoon. On a track which brought 33 wickets in a smidge over four sessions, there should have been little chance of Worcestershire chasing 231 to win.
It required the highest score of the game but it looks like they are going to do it comfortably. Credit must go to Kashif Ali, who has 66 in this second innings, to add to his 55 from the first.
He and Adam Hose batted well after, putting on a crucial 129 runs for the fourth wicket, with Hose eventually out for 50.
Batting conditions appear to have improved, but Durham's bowling has left a lot to be desired. They needed to keep it tight after lunch and they didn't.
There were too many costly bouncers, no-balls and erratic deliveries which raced to the boundary. All freebies. They needed to increase the pressure on Worcestershire but they did the opposite.
This is set to be the Pears' first win on this ground in the County Championship.

It took Worcestershire just 11 minutes to take the final Durham wicket this morning, as the hosts were dismissed in their second innings for 152. That set The Pears a target of 231.
I thought that was probably too much, on a track which has delivered 30 wickets in little over four sessions.
However, the reply got off to a decent start as Gareth Roderick and Jake Libby steered them to 50 without loss.
But then the England skipper Ben Stokes broke the deadlock. Roderick was caught behind, trying to hook a bouncer on 38. I am told it was his 100th FC wicket for Durham on the ground.
Worcestershire then went from 56-1 to 60-2, as Jake Libby pulled a ball to substitute Dan Hogg. Hogg was at mid-wicket. He's also 6ft 7ins. The bowler was Peter Siddle.
Stokes then took Rob Jones' off stump out the ground when he was on one. It was a wicket maiden.
Durham have moved into the box seat once again. And it's clouded over once again. Batting remains tricky.

When Durham were bowled out on the cusp of tea, on day one here in CLS, you wouldn't have expected to see them batting again before the close!
But on a green-top which is seaming around, 20 wickets have fallen so far.
Although tea was taken between innings, Worcestershire were out with nearly an hour of the day left. Their total of 112 was their lowest against Durham as well. The innings lasted 33 overs.
Kashif Ali scored 55 of them and only two other players made double figures, while four got ducks.
Matthew Potts celebrated his England call-up with 4-29 while England skipper Ben Stokes took 1-23.
There were 14 overs remaining when Durham started their second innings with a lead of 78.

Durham have been put in on a green top in Chester-le-Street and they are struggling in gloomy and chilly conditions. The ball is also seaming around. I can't remember seeing a wicket as green as this one in a long time.
But, for the second time this season Scott Borthwick fell for a duck against Worcestershire. It was third ball today, LBW to Nathan Smith. At Kidderminster he fell second ball and on both occasions Durham were 1-1.
Colin Ackermann soon followed, caught behind for one off Tom Taylor. David Bedingham then fell for 21, leaving a ball from Ben Allison which jagged back and took his off stump.
And Alex Lees has also departed for 17, caught in the slips off Matthew Waite. Three of the four wickets have come in the bowlers' first overs.
