    One Northern Ireland supporter has traveled a few extra miles to get to today's game. Johnny Ward, from Kilkeel, has spent the last 10 years trekking across the globe in the hope of visiting every country. However he didn't want to miss the GAWA in action and made the journey from Mogadishu in Somalia to France.

    Johnny's is one of many other fans who have come from far and wide to support the boys - including Owen and Elaine Millar who made the long journey from Australia to France along with their seven-month-old son Cian.

    Tonight's attendance in Lyon for Northern Ireland v Ukraine will be just over 54,000 It will be the biggest crowd the team has ever played in front of at a major championship.

    The record was previously 51,000 spectators when the green and white army took on Brazil at Guadelajara, in Mexico in 1986.

    The son of one of Northern Ireland's leading hairdressers David Aumonier  - who died last month - wanted to mark his father's love of the beautiful game and his devotion to the Northern Ireland team.

    Davis, pictured here with Simon Hamilton, DUP, scattered his father's ashes at the stadium in Nice where they would have watched the game together, had his father lived a little longer.  "I've been with my dad's friends in Nice and having the best time of my life. It's been sentimental but fantastic," he said.
