This election is building up to be an exciting close contest with no one party likely to have an overall majority. I am sure he is a nice guy, but he just doesn't come across well in this image obsessed digital age.

And he's stopped. We wonder whether he's seen the discussion on twitter? Or perhaps the presence of Leader of the House, William Hague in the chamber helped ease the Speaker's mood?
So how many times has House of Commons Speaker John Bercow sighed in exasperation during the current debate? Tory MP Adam Afriyie says he is "stunned" by Danny Alexander's speech, saying it represents politics at its worst. The backbencher says the statement is a betrayal of the Lib Dem's role in government.
Danny Alexander says Chris Leslie should get used to coalition governments. And he says no resources were expended on today's alternative budget, except the work of civil servants.

At the 11th hour, Danny Alexander is trying to distance himself from the chancellor, Mr Leslie claims. Is he now saying he doesn't back the Budget and won't vote for it? The Lib Dems have backed the Tories all the way, and now its time to pay the price, Mr Leslie concludes.
"What a farce," shadow chief secretary to the treasury Chris Leslie says in response to Danny Alexander. He accuses him of using the government dispatch box for party political statements. "Can we all have a shot of using parliament's time and civil servants time for such purposes," he asks.
