    Energy Secretary Amber Rudd has defended the government's decision to guarantee China's £2bn investment in the Hinkley Point nuclear reactor. Ms Rudd, who is in Beijing, says it is vital that nuclear is part of the UK's future energy mix saying she is not willing to "take any risks with energy security". China's involvement demonstrates that the UK is "open for business", adding the deal "is good for the UK and good for billpayers".
