    Labour MP for Barrow and Furness John Woodcock has tabled an urgent question on the "gross mishandling" of the case of 13-month-old Poppi Worthington.

    This week a family court judge ruled that her father had sexually assaulted her shortly before her sudden death. He denies any wrongdoing.

    Former justice minister Sir Simon Hughes has called for the case to be reopened.

    In a question about scouts, Mr Cameron said he had recently had a letter from the Chief Scout, Bear Grylls, to discuss how the organisation's centenary can be commemorated, adding that the scouts "are a great part of the Big Society". (We've not heard a reference to that for  quite a while)

    DUP MP NIgel Dodds asks the prime minister to support the right of the Falklands people to self determination. "They should have a right to determine their own future," he said. 

    Mr Cameron replies that the people of the Falklands had said very clearly they wanted to remain independent in a referendum. He criticised Labour's position on this.

    Labour's Tulip Siddiq asked the prime minister to join her at an event to support a campaign to get more bone marrow donations. Mr Cameron said he would be happy to support the campaign.

    Labour's Wes Streeting asked a question about knife crime in London,which rose last year. 

    Mr Cameron said the law had been toughened in terms of offences. Knife crime had fallen by 17% since 2010. He said young people need to be educated about the dangers of carrying knives.

  18. What's happening to university maintenance grants?published at 12:23

    From this autumn, means-tested student maintenance grants are to be switched to loans repayable after graduation.

    The grants, worth up to £3,387 per year for university students from poorer families, are paid to around 500,000 university students in England, according to the National Union of Students, which describes them as a lifeline.

    The government maintains the grants are unaffordable.

    The new system will mean all student finance will have to be repaid, once students have graduated and are earning at least £21,000 per year.

    Labour failed in an attempt to block the proposals on Tuesday, accusing ministers of "a broken promise".

    Protests outside Parliament on the day of the debate blocked Westminster bridge for more than an hour and a half.
