    Remain campaigner Alex Salmond has attacked "scaremongering" by his own side, in the first BBC EU debate.

    The former SNP leader told young voters in Glasgow that he wanted to "get a bit of idealism into the debate".

    Leave campaigner Liam Fox accused him of "another fear campaign" after the former SNP leader predicted another Scottish referendum within two years of a vote to leave the EU.
