    Tory MP Theresa Villiers says that the UK could build a new runway at Gatwick at a fraction of the economic and environmental cost of doing so Heathrow. In response, Mrs May insists that no decision has been taken. 

    The session concludes with another question about the Aberfan tragedy 50 years ago, with Mrs May saying it is right that the country takes a moment to recall the terrible events.

    Labour MP Andy Burnham is next up, saying it is "shameful" that the families of those killed the 1974 Birmingham Pub bombings have not been granted legal aid ahead of a fresh inquest and urges the PM to show the "same compassion" as she did to the victims of the Hillsborough disaster. 

    The PM she says she understands that the families have the right to apply for publicly-funded legal support.

Tory MP Oliver Dowden then asks about incidents of anti-Semitism in the Labour Party following a critical report by MPs. 

    Theresa May says she is worried by cases of hate crime and politicians have a particular responsibility to show leadership. She says Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn must look at the "environment" that has been allowed to take root in his party.

    Former Foreign Office minister Hugo Swire asked about the PM's forthcoming visit to India and urges her to press for her counterpart Narendra Modi to attend the next Commonwealth heads of government meeting.

    Tory MP Bob Neill then raises Tuesday's fatal stabbing at Pentonville prison in London and says he is alarmed by the decline in standards and safety in British prisons. He calls for a top-to-bottom review of the National Offender Management Service. In response, the PM says she is committed to making prisons safer for inmates and those who guard them.

    A succession of questions on social policy issues. Maria Eagle asks about errors in tax credit payments by private firm Concentrix. This is followed by a question from the SNP about women and the state pension age.

    Then Conservative MP Heidi Allen asks the prime minister to rethink planned cuts to the amount of universal credit available to those on low incomes. The PM says she will consider all these matters.

    Former Chancellor Ken Clarke accuses Brexit supporters in his party of briefing against Conservative colleagues in the press and says the government needs to be more open about its negotiating strategy and give the Commons more say. 

    Mrs May says her job is to implement the verdict of the British people and says there will be opportunities for MPs to play a key role, particularly with the Great Repeal Bill.

    Tory MP Richard Fuller asks about Heathrow expansion and says that "substance matters more than symbolism" when it comes to how the issue is handled.

    Mrs May says that, unlike government over the past 40 years, she will make a decision and runs through the timetable for action - a decision next week followed by a year-long consultation and a binding vote on a national policy statement in 2018.

    Labour's Stephen Pound calls for a stop to "corrosive and destructive" funding cuts to NHS pharmacies. Mrs May says that pharmacies play a valuable role but she has a duty to ensure that public money is spently wisely, proceeding to attack the opposition's policy on the NHS.

    Labour's Lisa Nandy asks about the child sex abuse inquiry and asks when the PM first knew about the "serious problems" surrounding it, following allegations about former chair Dame Lowell Goddard's conduct. (Allegations which she denies.)

    The MP asks why Mrs May, who set up the inquiry as home secretary, has taken "no action" at all. The PM says she was aware of press reports but insists that ministers cannot act on the basis of "suspicion, rumours and hearsay", adding this would reinforce historic concerns about the state intervening in the interests of the powerful.

    The inquiry, she adds, must be allowed to continue its work in the interests of victims and survivors.

    Tory MP Nigel Adams asks for new laws to clamp down on the secondary re-sale of tickets by touts, pointing out that he tried to buy tickets for a Green Day concert, was told it was sold out but then found there were available on secondary sites.

    Mrs May says every MP will recognise his experience and says there is a review into the issue and, if necessary, action will be taken.

    After a backbench question on transport funding in the West Country, the SNP's Angus Robertson has his two questions.

    He asks whether missiles made in Scotland sold by the UK government to Saudi forces have been used to kill civilians in Yemen. He asks for assurances and says, if not, how in "good conscience" can the UK continue to sell the weaponry. 

    Mrs May says the UK has a "strong relationship" with Saudi Arabia and says it was important that such incidents were investigated before action is taken.

    As the exchanges comes to an end, the prime minister goes on the attack over the NHS, saying that despite Labour claims to the contrary before elections, the Conservatives have always protected spending for the NHS and will continue to do so. In fact, she concludes, Labour in Wales is the only party that has cut funding to the NHS.

    Theresa May says there is a record level of money going into the NHS. She says her party's attitude to the NHS is different from Labour, as it believes in local clinical provision rather than top-down bureaucracy. But Mr Corbyn says that the government has failed millions of patients and left a health service "on its knees".
