    Mark Garnier, a Jeremy Hunt supporter, tells the BBC that Mr Hunt aims to reach the final two by picking up supporters of Rory Stewart and Sajid Javid.

    "I think that will help keep Jeremy ahead of the pack," he says.

    He praised Mr Stewart for "invigorating the campaign" and said "the membership love Boris" but suggested that being "an MP who is fun to be with" is not enough to be prime minister.
