    The campaigning group Greenpeace, which blocked Boris Johnson's path, say in a press release that they want him to “get to grips with the climate emergency” including introducing a climate and nature emergency budget, abandoning fracking and scrapping Heathrow's third runway.

    "If we want any chance of leaving a habitable world to our children we need to see action start immediately," said executive director of Greenpeace John Sauven.

    "We can’t blunder and bluster our way out of this emergency."

    Conservative Party member Simon said: "I am fairly gloomy, I have to say... I think he is basically a fraud, a charlatan."

    Sam said: "He is a leader... so long as he has a really, really strong cabinet which of course he will have, he will be able to lead a fantastic team."

    Boris Johnson is currently being invited to form a new government by the Queen in a tradition known as "kissing hands".

    Just before his appointment, former Labour Prime Minister Tony Blair was told by a Buckingham Palace official "you don't actually kiss the Queen's hand in the ceremony of kissing hands, you brush them gently with your lips" but it is thought a handshake will suffice.
