Clyde, cops, couple, community and commitment - check out my highlights from the Queen's Baton Relay in Scotland.
An epic journey
Look back at the journey the Queen's Baton has made as preparations start in earnest for the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Hands up with the harriers
Iain Burke has emailed this picture of Erica Christie, one of yesterday's baton bearers in Pollok Park.
Erica is pictured with some members of Bellahouston Harriers, and is the running club's first female president in its 122 year history.
It's not the first time she's done this sort of thing either. Erica was a baton bearer for the 1970 Edinburgh Commonwealth Games.
Team Fiji finally with the baton
Members of Team Fiji got to hold the Queen's baton during its tour of the Commonwealth Games Athletes' Village in Glasgow earlier.
Fiji is the only nation or territory represented at Glasgow 2014 the relay did not officially visit because the country was suspended from the Commonwealth when the baton was in the south Pacific in November and December 2013.
That suspension was lifted in March.
What's it all about?
If you're still wondering what all this Commonwealth Games malarkey is, and are a bit pushed for time, then BBC Shorts have produced a 15 second-long video explainer.
Boxers on bikes with baton
Team Scotland have tweeted this picture of their boxing squad with the Queen's Baton preparing for the Games.
They say: "Boxing: No time to let your foot off the gas when aiming for the podium! #GoScotland"
We think Reece McFadden is following Theodore Roosevelt's advice to "speak softly and carry a big stick".
'Thumbs up'
We've had a lot of messages over the past 40 days praising the police escort officers who ran alongside the baton bearers.
This tweet from Susan Hogg echoes most people's sentiments.
"@Batonrelay2014 I would like to give all the police relay runners a big thumbs up for all their hard work and dedication over the few weeks"
Proud father
Abby Tombs was a baton bearer in Govanhill yesterday. Her father David has emailed this picture.
He extended his thanks to the relay organisers and said: "We are very proud of Abby Louise. Even though she suffers from lupus she had an excellent day".
Perth to Inverclyde video
Watch highlights from the Queen's Baton Relay as it travelled from Perth to Inverclyde.

'Go dad'
Pollok United Girls have tweeted this great picture of Andrew Elliot, one of yesterday's baton bearers.
They say: "Pollok Utd chairman Andy Elliott gets ready to run his leg in Cardonald #bbcbatonrelay"
Watch this Usain
Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt is training twice a day in the build-up to the Commonwealth Games.
We sincerely hope that his preparations include watching Jack and Imran's "Guide to the baton relay for Usain Bolt".
'Go Scotland'
Team Scotland have just tweeted: "That time, is now. Only a matter of hours until this great country hosts the Opening Ceremony. #GoScotland"

Proud mum
Amanda Kerr is clearly trying to make us blush with her email.
She says: "I would like to take a minute to just say what a great job the BBC team and of course yourselves are doing keeping us updated on all that's happening.
"My son Jordan Robertson had the great honour of carrying the Queen's Baton along the River Clyde by boat yesterday.
"Unfortunately his wee sister Olivia and I are in Lanzarote but thanks to technology, and of course the BBC, we could watch live and speak to him (there were many tears at my end).
"We are all so proud of him and hope he enjoys the next stage of his journey being a Clydesider. He will have all these wonderful memories to share for years to come.
"Thank you all."
River City relay
Fans of BBC Scotland's River City were treated to the sight of Molly running with the baton through the streets of Shieldinch last night.
You can watch the clip on the River City programme page.
'Have a blast'
BBC Scotland radio presenter John Beattie tweets: "If you've never been in a city hosting the games I can promise - you will have a blast try to experience everything"

Opening Ceremony weather
BBC Weather's Peter Sloss has the weather forecast for this evening.
He says: "It will be fine and sunny for the Opening Ceremony, still warm with temperatures remaining in the low 20s well into the evening."
'Whole city is alive'
Emdad Rahman emailed in to say what an honour it was to carry the baton near the Botanic Gardens in Glasgow.
Emdad, who travelled up from London to take part in the relay, was nominated for his community work.
An ambassador at the London 2012 Olympic Games, Emdad said: "It's been an absolute honour to have been chosen to carry the baton in the venue city of the games.
"The whole place is alive and there is a merriment that is reminiscent of how London was during the Olympic Games.
"I have had a great day and enjoyed meeting lots of people throughout my stay here today."
Lord of the rings
Lynn Bowles has tweeted this picture of Radio 2's Ken Bruce interviewing Steve Frew.
Steve won gold in the men's rings at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
Lynn tweets: "@RealKenBruce talking to Steve Frew, with the Queen's baton early today. The team looks on #bbcbatonrelay."
Good morning
Good morning. The Commonwealth Games are almost upon us. Are you ready?
Although there won't be any baton bearers before the Opening Ceremony gets under way at Celtic Park later this evening, the Queen's baton will be popping up at a few locations during the day including the athletes' village.
