    The Herald leads with "one in 10" potential jobs at risk in Scotland while the Daily Record splashes "economic meltdown".

    Campaigners are calling on all councils to make payments to families who'd normally receive free school meals.

    The Child Poverty Action Group says this is better than providing vouchers or meals.

    BBC Scotland research shows a wide variation in the service being provided by councils during the emergency.

    Roughly a third are providing meals or packed lunches - while a few are providing vouchers which can only be redeemed at particular chains.

    Some remote shops serving communities say they are having difficulty getting provisions for customers.

    The Scottish Grocers Federation said the issue needs urgently addressed.

    The body says many of its members are providing vital services such as ATMs, deliveries, bill payment facilities and post offices, but need support to continue to do so.
