- NHS officials said the pupils at Bannerman High School in Baillieston all tested positive before the school returned on Wednesday morning
- Education staff can now request a Covid-19 test if they are concerned they have been at risk from infection, the Scottish government has announced
- Teachers, nursery and other school staff will be able to ask for a test - even if they are showing no symptoms
- Thousands more pupils returned to Scotland's schools this morning- after almost five months away from the classroom
- Education Secretary John Swinney denies his school results U-turn was motivated by saving his job rather than the concerns of pupils
