    Two countries have been added to the list for quarantine restrictions - the Czech Republic and Jamaica.

    From tomorrow, people returning from these countries must self-isolate for 14 days.

    Cuba has now been removed from the list.

  2. 51 new cases of coronaviruspublished at 12:23 British Summer Time 28 August 2020

    Nicola Sturgeon confirms 20,107 people have now tested positive for Covid-19, an increase of 51 from yesterday.

    That’s 0.6% of those that were newly tested yesterday.

    The provisional information is 10 of the 51 new cases are Tayside where the government is dealing with the cluster at the 2 Sisters food processing plant.

    A total of 14 are in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, 3 in Lanarkshire and 2 in Grampian.

    The remaining 22 are spread across six other health boards.

    255 patients are in hospital with a confirmed case (down two), with three being treated in intensive care.

    No deaths were registered in the last 24 hours of people who tested positive, meaning the total remains at 2,494.
