    Conservative MSP Liz Smith says there have to be very tough choices made in setting the priorities.

    Labour MSP Neil Findlay says the Tories want to cut taxes and rip out public money, while his party wants to raise taxes and put money into public services.

    Ms Smith says she  could list a number of measures in the Autumn Statement designed to help those on lower incomes.

    The Tory MSP says when it comes to inspection in schools p.e and extracurricular activity did not get much focus.

    Public Health and Sport Minister Aileen Campbell says her portfolio demonstrates the need for physical activity to improve health. 

    Ms Campbell says the parliament is at its best when it unites as it has done in the past spectacularly in tackling 

    She says: "The most important four years of a child's life is up to the age of three."

    In reply to Jackson Carlaw's contribution, Ms Campbell says the baby box is to help children get the very best start in life and will be of great benefit to many children across the country.

    Mr Sarwar says, in the NHS Delivery Plan, there is little mention of health inequalities.

    The Labour MSP says there is a cut to the sports budget which will have a direct impact on health outcomes.

    Mr Sarwar says we can use the powers of the parliament to tackle the obesity problem.

    Lib Dem MSP Alex Cole-Hamilton says investment should be put in place upstream to follow Campbell Christie's agenda of prevention, but that has not happened.

    Mr Cole-Hamilton says mental ill health accounts for one of the single greatest strains on the health service.

    The Lib Dem MSP says overall spending on mental health has measurably declined as a percentage of overall health spending in the last 10 years.

    He calls for a doubling of CAMHS funding.

    Ms Johnstone says we badly need fairer funding for GPs working in our most deprived areas.

    She says health inequalities are not a result of individual responsibilities, but are fundamentally caused by peoples social circumstances.

    The Green MSP calls for a Young Carers Allowance.

    Mr Findlay says "the appalling benefit sanction regime" should be stopped.
