    The construction element of the first phase of the world's largest tidal stream array was completed in April.

    The MeyGen scheme in the Inner Sound of the Pentland Firth off the Caithness coast involves four tidal turbines.

    Altantis Resources Ltd, which has been leading the project, said the scheme would now begin a 25-year phase of generating electricity.

    The four turbines have the capacity to generate 6MW. More of the devices have been proposed for the site.

    The first minister confirms a review by the Scottish clinical taskforce identified a number of women over 70 who had not been invited to their final screening.

    All women now been sent a letter advising what has happened and invited to attend an appoint, she adds.

    Ms Sturgeon confirms all will receive appointments by the end of October this year.

    Work is also being taken to develop and IT fix on the issue, she adds.

    Mr Greene claims this issue was not unexpected and asks why the 2016 recommendations for more oversight ignored.

    The first minister says this was a separate issue that those raised in 2016 so was not predictable.

    She apologises to the women impacted by the recent fault but adds it was only 0.2% of all eligible.

    Almost 1,800 women are being contacted by NHS Scotland after it emerged they were not invited for breast screening appointments.

    Women in Scotland aged 50 to 70 are routinely contacted about screening.

    But delays within the programme meant 1,761 women were not invited for their final appointment by the time they had reached 71.

    The health service said it would write to the women concerned to arrange screenings "as soon as possible".

    "Inescapable" costs, like childcare and disability, should be considered alongside income when measuring poverty in the UK, experts say.

    The Social Metrics Commission says the proposals make "significant changes to our understanding" of poverty.

    The measurement puts 68% of those in families where no-one works in poverty and 9% in families where adults work full-time.

    The government said it offered "further insight" into a "complex" issue.

    Time is running out for a Brexit deal, leaders of European countries have warned ahead of more talks in Salzburg.

    There is still no agreement on issues including how to avoid new checks on the Northern Irish border.

    At the EU summit on Wednesday evening Mrs May stressed her "serious" proposals for future co-operation would ensure a "shared closed relationship".

    European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker described her 10-minute presentation as "interesting".

    "It was polite, it was not aggressive, she was doing her job," he told reporters as he arrived for a second day of talks.

    376,000 households are lacking high speed broadband, he states, seeking a timetable for the R100 programme.

    The first minister insists Audit Scotland said the government has achieved its targets on broadband so far.

    Our commitment on broadband will take us ahead of any other part of the UK, she adds.

    Ms Sturgeon points to a £600m investment in the R100 procurement programme and highlights the UK government is only investment 3% of the total.
