Cardiff City fans welcome the decision to return the club's shirt back to blue from red after appeals
Owner Vincent Tan gave the go-ahead during overnight boardroom discussions and the badge will also change
Tan said his mother spoke to him on the importance of togetherness, unity and happiness
The blue kit will be worn this Saturday against Fulham after gaining special dispensation from the Football League
The rebrand was introduced by Tan in June 2012, following his multi-million-pound investment
The controversial colour change and redesign of the club crest to include a dragon caused anger and protests among supporters

Tim Hartley, chair of Cardiff City Supporters' Trust, said: "This is blue letter day for Cardiff City and its fans. It reunites the club and its supporters so everyone can move forward together.
"We're very grateful to Vincent Tan for returning our club to blue and hope supporters will turn out in very large numbers and in blue to celebrate. Our history and traditions are being restored.
"I'd love to see a carnival atmosphere at the Cardiff City Stadium with every fan getting behind the team and cheering them to victory against Fulham. Let's fill the stadium.
