    Most schools will remain open on Monday, but a number in Blaenau Gwent have already confirmed they will close, as well as a school in Rhondda Cynon Taff.

    All information on closures will be made on council websites, links to which can be found at the bottom of this page.

    The Met Office's yellow warning for snow and ice remains in place for much of Wales for the rest of Sunday.

    And a yellow warning has been issued for ice across the majority of Wales until 10:00 on Monday, so take care on the morning commute.

    One Welsh athlete used to the snow is skier Menna Fitzpatrick, who won Britain's first gold medal of the 2018 Winter Paralympics overnight in South Korea.

    Together with her partner Jen Kehoe, Fitzpatrick took the top place in the visually-impaired slalom competition.

    She will also now carry the flag at the closing ceremony.

    Several flights from Cardiff Airport have been delayed or cancelled, leaving supporters with long delays to get home.

    There are a handful of homes currently without power in parts of south Wales.

    A total of 162 homes in Caerphilly, Saundersfoot in Pembrokeshire and Bryncethin, Bridgend are all experiencing shortages.

    A man had to be rescued by helicopter after becoming unwell overnight in blizzard conditions up a mountain in Snowdonia.

    The man, in his 60s, was part of a ten-strong training party and became poorly at a night camp at Cwm Caseg, 2,000ft (600m) above sea level.

    The Ogwen Valley and RAF Valley mountain rescue teams were alerted and flew him off the mountain on Sunday morning.

    One place which is used to getting its fair share of snow over the winter months (unlike Wales) is Canada.

    These two visitors to Caerphilly Mountain, from Toronto, said the weather is "identical" to the amount of snow you would expect in Canada in mid-March.

    However, a number of schools in Blaenau Gwent, external have already confirmed they will be closed on Monday because of the snow.

    There is no longer an amber warning in place for Wales.

    However, there is a yellow "be aware" warning for snow and ice still in force. It covers most of Wales and lasts until 23:55 on Sunday.

    There is a separate yellow warning for ice which begins at 00:05 on Monday
