    Celebrations kick off at 16:00 when Geraint will arrive at the Senedd to be congratulated by First Minister Carwyn Jones.

    Following a short appearance on the Senedd steps, Geraint will lead a peloton of young riders up St Mary Street.

    He will then take to a stage outside Cardiff Castle from 17:00 until about 17:30, when there will be performances from Max Boyce and a brass band.

    A Welsh winner of the Tour de France - not many would have thought that at the start of July!

    Now, to mark the monumental achievement, Geraint Thomas is being honoured with a parade in his home town of Cardiff.
