Osian Williams, a self-employed chimney sweep working in Pwllheli, Gwynedd, has called on the UK government to do more to help people in his situation.

"I think the government are being very generous to the employed, but they should also be generous with the self-employed too," he told BBC Radio Wales Breakfast.

"I’ve personally been off work now for two weeks, and my partner is having a baby in the next couple of weeks, so I’ve gone into isolation so I can be at the birth.

"Otherwise, financially, I would have to work. I would like the government to be fair with the self-employed, as fair as they are with the employed. It is difficult, no doubt about it.

"You sit there, day in, day out, and you know you’ve got bills coming in, and it’s constantly on your mind, not just worrying about the virus, but the cost and the financial worry of it too. You’re constantly worried about it and it puts more stress on families."
