"About 500 people are attending the service, with 360 inside and hundreds stood on the steps.
These include senior politicians from across the political spectrum.
Former Labour leader Neil Kinnock and former acting leader Harriet Harman are among Mr Morgan's party colleagues here.
The Conservative contingent includes Alun Cairns and former party leader in Wales Nick Bourne while the Liberal Democrats are represented by Mike German, who served in government with Mr Morgan."

10:53 BST 31 May 2017Hywel Rhodri Morgan was born in September 1939, the second son of Huana and professor Thomas John Morgan.
After graduating from St John's College, Oxford, and Harvard University, he married Julie Edwards and started a career in local government.
He spent more than 30 years in politics and was Wales' longest-serving first minister before stepping down in 2009. He is survived by wife Julie, the Cardiff North AM, his son and two daughters.

His grandson Efan will lead the signing of Welsh hymn Calon Lan while the Dylan Thomas poem 'Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night' will be read by his successor as first minister, Carwyn Jones.
Welsh historian Prys Morgan will also pay tribute to his younger brother.

The funeral at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay starts at 11:00 BST and is open to the public.
The humanist ceremony is being conducted by his friend and former Cardiff South AM Lorraine Barrett.
