    Photos are coming through from Pope Francis' interfaith meeting with religious leaders in Nairobi earlier this morning. 

    Speaking to Christian, Muslim and leaders of other faiths at the Vatican's diplomatic mission in Nairobi, Pope Francis explicitly referred to previous attacks by Islamist militant group al-Shabab: 

    "[Inter-religious dialogue] is not a luxury. It is not something extra or optional, but essential," he said, stressing that God's name "must never be used to justify hatred and violence."

    Pope Francis gave crowds the full Popemobile spectacle this morning as he arrived for Mass at the University of Nairobi grounds in the specially designed open-air vehicle.

    He traded in the Honda he used on his arrival in Kenya on Wednesday.
