DR Congo opposition HQ 'targeted'published at 09:00 British Summer Time 20 September 2016
The latest reports from the Democratic Republic of Congo speak of continued violence and unrest.
The AFP news agency is reporting that the headquarters of two opposition parties have been burnt down overnight.
On Monday the opposition said more than 50 people were killed during protests against President Joseph Kabila.
The main opposition alliance has accused the security forces of using live bullets against peaceful protesters, who were demanding that a date be set for presidential elections.
The government blamed the violence on armed protesters and put the number of dead at 17, including three policemen.
