The seven members of China’s most powerful body - the Politburo Standing Committee - have been confirmed
The members are Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Li Zhanshu, Wang Yang, Wang Huning, Zhao Leji and Han Zheng
However, there is no heir apparent to Mr Xi in the line up

Mr Xi, who launched a wide-ranging corruption crackdown, is now talking of the need of continuous reform within the party. In a speech full of Communist rhetoric, he urged members to "exercise full and rigorous governance" over the party, and to "continue to rid ourselves of a virus that erodes party spirit".

His speech after the big reveal.
Mr Xi is now talking of his philosophy "Socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era". He noted that next year would mark the 40th anniversary of China's reform and "opening up" which has "made it possible for our people to lead decent, and even comfortable, lives."
"It is my conviction that the great rejuvenation of the great Chinese nation will become a reality."
This line-up, revealing no clear heir, shows his intention to take the most prominent role in steering this.

IISS analyst Alex Neill says the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) has gained enormous powers at the 19th Party Congress, and is feared by officials.
Xi Jinping began with noting the heavy media coverage of the congress, and introduced the standing committee members one by one. He then thanked the party members, promising: "We will work diligently... to fulfill our mission and be worthy of their trust."
