    Sky News journalist Alex Rossi was at the airport when the blasts occurred. He said he heard two "very, very loud explosions". 

    "I could feel the building move. There was also dust and smoke as well... I went towards where the explosion came from and there were people coming out looking very dazed and shocked.

    "The thinking here is that it is some kind of terrorist attack - that hasn't been verified by any of the authorities here at the airport."

    Belgian news agency Belga is reporting that shots were fired and Arabic was shouted before the two explosions at Brussels airport.

    Belgian media reports say one person has died in the explosion and several have been injured.

    Other, unconfirmed media reports, citing firefighters at the scene, say at least 11 people have been killed in the blasts and 25 injured.

    Two explosions have been reported in the departure hall of Brussels airport, injuring several people.

    Images shared on social media showed smoke rising from the terminal building and significant damage inside. 

    The blasts come four days after the arrest in Brussels of a suspected Paris attacker Salah Abdeslam in Brussels.
