    Micheál Martin jumps in first and said the mistake is that he must stand out against the herd.

    Mary Lou McDonald said she has a list of mistakes, including the party's last electoral performance.

    Leo Varadkar said he makes mistakes all the time. He said he can be too blunt.

    Mary Lou McDonald is asked about the death of Paul Quinn, and a request from his mother Breege Quinn for an apology from Sinn Féin Finance Minister Conor Murphy.

    In October 2007, the 21-year-old from County Armagh was lured to a shed in County Monaghan where he was killed by a gang of men.

    The Quinn family has always blamed the IRA for murdering their son.

    Shortly after the attack Mr Murphy said Paul Quinn was involved in smuggling and criminality.

    Ms McDonald says that Mr Murphy is aware that his comments caused hurt to the Quinn family, that he apologises and withdraws the remarks and will speak to the Quinn family.

    Leo Varadkar is being questioned about his leadership and management of TDs

    The Dara Murphy story is brought under the spotlight.

    To remind you, he was the Fine Gael TD for Cork North Central who resigned from the Dáil in December to take up a senior position with the European Commission.

    He has been based largely in Brussels for the past two years, where he had a senior role with the European People’s Party (EPP). He had the lowest attendance record in the Dáil and was rarely seen in Leinster House.

    Despite this, he still claimed his full parliamentary and travel allowances of €4,300 per month.

    While Fine Gael's manifesto promises are not as ambitious as Fianna Fáil and Sinn Féin's plans, he said that his party's is the sensible option.
