    Quote Message

Three people arrested for drink driving in a single day is a damning indictment of the attitude some people have towards their and other people’s safety. They will now be off the roads – and one is likely to be in prison within days. We have been very, very fortunate that none of these drink drivers have caused injuries or worse."

There is never an ideal time to improve passenger facilities whilst keeping the terminal operational at the same time. But, this time of year was a good time to do the project, where it is relatively quiet when compared to our busy summer season.

The offer for nurses and midwives, who are not striking, was also revised.

But Terry Renouf, from the Prospect union, says it's an insult:

    Quote Message

For this to be imposed on teaching assistants - an offer that matches the one that's been offered to teaching unions and has been rejected overwhelmingly - is a further insult. The teaching assistants that have contacted us today are even more disgusted with this than they were with the original imposition of 1%."
