    Trees are causing road obstructions in Guernsey

    The Joint Emergency Services Control Centre said 17 trees are down across the island, causing partial road obstructions.

    Guernsey Fire & Rescue Service said it had been working hard to help clear obstructions.

    Coastal flooding has been caused, particularly along the east coast, and no reports of people needing relocation have been made.

    Trees are down across the island

    In Jersey overnight, four people have been taken to A&E, police have confirmed.

    The force said 29 adults, six children and seven pets had been relocated to hotel accommodation due to property damage, police confirmed

    Four people have also been relocated to another address and emergency services are out dealing with incidents.

    Trees are down across the island, with work under way to remove them.
