After attending church, the president will visit CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, on Saturday.

Trump has frequently clashed with members of the intelligence community, who have determined that the Russian government hacked the Democratic party in the run-up to the US election and released embarrassing emails in a bid to defeat Hillary Clinton.

Less than two weeks ago, Trump accused the intelligence services of a leak, comparing them in a tweet to "Nazi Germany".

Grammy-winning US singer-songwriter Fiona Apple has released a protest song for today's women's marches around the world.

The song features leaked comments by Trump in 2005 boasting about grabbing women by the genitalia.

The title apparently refers to a taunt about the new president's supposedly small hands.
