Tim Hetherington: Views after the wave

  • Published
Media caption,

Acclaimed war photographer and film-maker Tim Hetherington was killed in Libya in 2011. In the summer of 2005, he had travelled with Christian Aid to India and Sri Lanka to meet communities recovering from the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.

His resulting work was used by the charity to mark the disaster's first anniversary - in the exhibition Every Time I See The Sea.

Here - nearly 10 years since the deadly wave struck - are some of his striking images once again.
