Black lives matter: Seeing the protests through a camera
Baltimore resident Freddie Gray died following a spinal injury he suffered in police custody. In response, the local community began a series of protests. As the protests grew larger, news organizations, freelance photographers, fellow protestors and others converged on the city to report, to document, to protest and to witness a city in turmoil.
On the day of Gray's funeral 18-year-old Amir Price and his friend Orlando Pinder, travelled to Baltimore from Washington DC to photograph and to record on video the ongoing events, motivated by the Black Lives Matter movement.
The BBC talked to Amir Price as he recently returned to Baltimore with Orlando Pinder.
