Diana Vickers LP 'out next year'

All this week on Newsbeat we're looking ahead to the new series of The X Factor to find out what happened to some of last year's losing finalists. Diana Vickers was elimanted from the show in week nine with only Eoghan Quigg, JLS and Alexandra Burke finishing above her. Since then the 18-year-old has recorded her debut album, bagged a part in a West End musical in London and has been partying with Cheryl Cole.

What happened for you after The X Factor finished? Was it strange when you stopped appearing in all the newspapers?
