A new comedy series produced by Anchorman actor Will Ferrell's company is having its debut on British TV.

Eastbound And Down is about a former professional baseball player, played by Danny McBride from Tropic Thunder and Pineapple Express, who returns to his home town to become a substitute gym teacher.

The 32-year-old says Will Ferrell helped him get his first film off the ground, he's is now a mate and thinks Eastbound And Down is quite a dark comedy.
