Biffy Clyro will open this year's Ibiza Rocks series

Biffy Clyro are to open this year's Ibiza Rocks series with a gig on 8 June.

The Kilmarnock rockers will kick off the series alongside Bombay Bicycle Club at the Ibiza Rocks hotel in San Antonio, Ibiza.

Maximo Park will return to the event for the first time in five years headlining on 13 July.

Tinie Tempah, recently number one with his track Pass Out, will open the show for Chase N Status on 2 August.

As previously reported Bloc Party's Kele Okereke, The Prodigy, Florence and the Machine and Dizzee Rascal will all play on the Balearic island this summer.

Meanwhile, Bombay Bicycle Club will kick off the event's sister series Mallorca Rocks on 6 June with The Kooks. The Courteeners will also play on 19 July.
