Biffy Clyro to write new songs over the summer

Biffy Clyro say they'll start working on material for their sixth studio album over the summer.
The Kilmarnock band have a busy schedule over the next few months which includes playing at this weekend's Isle of Wight festival.
They arrived home from a series of gigs in Australia last month and also played at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Bangor.
Bassist James Johnston says they fit in writing new songs around their schedule: "We've been working on some things when we get a chance and when we're at home.
"I guess the good thing about summer is we get to go home for a few days every week and we'll definitely be working on stuff over the summer.
"We'll be really excited to do it as soon as possible. We've obviously got a lot of things coming up but that is definitely top of our priorities for the moment."
The threesome are also appearing at T in the Park, Reading & Leeds and start a UK tour in the autumn.
Singer Simon Neil says they'll probably write about their experiences since releasing their last album, Only Revolutions, in 2009.
"You don't even know sometimes when you're soaking up inspiration," he said.
"It's only when you really stop and you're at home and you think about things that you've experienced that it starts to come out.
"At the time it can sometimes pass in a blur but when we're writing records it's normally talking about a couple of years of our lives."
Biffy Clyro are playing the Saturday afternoon of the Isle of Wight festival before headliners The Strokes and Blondie.
Simon says it'll be "incredible" to play there and says they're looking forward to seeing one band in particular.
"Crowded House are one of our favourite bands," he admitted.
"They're not cool but they write some of the best songs in the world. We used to actually always sing Crowded House to warm up before going on stage.
"They have a special place in our hearts, so we're looking forward to seeing them."
