New venue for Brit Awards in 2011

British music's biggest night, the Brit Awards, is getting a new home.
Organisers have decided to part company with Earls Court, the West London venue that's been home to the annual ceremony for many years.
It's thought the 2011 Brit Awards will be the other side of London in the much more modern and larger venue, the 02 Arena.
EC&O Venues who run Earls Court have confirmed they won't be hosting the Brit Awards.
They say it follows a decision to change the format of the show to an arena event.
Sad to see
In a statement they said: "We are sad to see The BRITs move to a new venue after 13 very successful years at Earls Court but we'd like to wish the organisers the very best of luck going forward."
At this year's Brit Awards, Lady Gaga came out on top with three honours.
X Factor runners-up JLS took home two awards.
The long term future of Earls Court is in doubt as the venue has new owners.
There's been talk of knocking the place down and building new homes on the site.
It will though be used as part of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
