Russell Brand has been photographed in his underpants filming scenes for a remake of 1981 movie, Arthur.
The British comedian takes the part originally portrayed by the late Dudley Moore.
The movie is being shot in New York with Russell Brand being filmed running into a church.
The 35-year-old plays a lothario who's about to have an arranged marriage with a wealthy heiress but is really in love with a shoplifter.
British actress Helen Mirren will star opposite Brand, playing John Gielgud's part as Arthur's valet, with Jennifer Garner taking the part of the heiress Susan Johnson and Hulk actor Nick Nolte her religious father.
Brand's character stands to inherit a fortune if he marries her but he wants to be with Linda Marolla, the woman he loves played by 26-year-old Greta Gerwig.
The scenes were filmed at St Bart's Church in Manhattan with the movie due out next year.
The original film won two Oscars and earned Dudley Moore a nomination for best actor.
Russell Brand is due to marry fiancée Katy Perry later this year and has already appeared in films like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, St Trinian's and Get Him to the Greek.
