Kanye West says he won't be giving away any free tracks to fans this Friday (1 October), because a song from his unreleased album has been leaked.

Last month, West said he would give away new music at the end of each week in an event he called Good Fridays.

West has already 'leaked' a remix of his latest single Power and a new track featuring Beyonce called See Me Now.

However, writing on Twitter, Kanye said: "It's messed up that one hacker can mess everything up for everyone."

'Disappointed'

The star added: "I love to take a year to finish my songs and deliver them to you guys in their most completed form."

It's thought his untitled fifth record will be released later this year.

The song which found its way onto the internet on Wednesday is called Lost In The World and features samples from Gil Scott-Heron and Bon Iver.

West said: "It would have seemed like since I give free music every week even the lowest form of human being would respect that enough not to leak unfinished songs from my real album."

He also revealed to fans he is in the studio working on material with collaborators Soulja Boy and Kid Cudi: "2 of my favourite most genius artist. Even in my disappointment about the leaks I feel blessed."
