The Wombats, Two Door Cinema Club, Mark Ronson, DJ Shadow and Groove Armada will also play the event, which won the best small festival prize at Tuesday's NME awards.
Katy B and Magnetic Man are other new additions to the bill.
Fatboy Slim and The Strokes were two of the big names that played at 2010's RockNess.
The three-day event takes place in the village of Dores, near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands.
Rockness takes place from 10-12 June 2011 and tickets are now on sale.
