Beyonce has announced she has split with her manager Mathew Knowles, who's also her father.
In a statement announcing the end of their working relationship, the singer said she was "grateful" for everything he'd taught her.
No reason was given but the 29-year-old singer added: "He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly."
Mathew Knowles confirmed in a separate statement that the decision to stop working together was mutual.
He has managed her since his daughter joined girl group Destiny's Child in 1997 and throughout her award-winning solo career.
Beyonce added: "I grew up watching both he and my mother manage and own their own businesses.
"They were hardworking entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps."
Former Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland parted company with Mathew Knowles as her manager in 2009 and Michelle Williams followed a year later.
Mathew Knowles added: "Business is business and family is family. I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved.
"I look forward to her continued great success."
Mathew Knowles and Beyonce's mother, Tina, divorced in 2009 after 29 years of marriage.
Beyonce, who is married to rapper Jay-Z, is to headline the Sunday night of this year's Glastonbury festival.
Since she began her career with Destiny's Child she's won 16 Grammy music awards.
There's no word yet on who'll replace Mathew Knowles as Beyonce's manager.
