Kim Kardashian announces engagement to Kris Humphries

Kim Kardashian has announced her engagement to basketball player boyfriend Kris Humphries.
The US reality TV star has been going out with the New Jersey Nets player for six months.
Kardashian told People Magazine that she was in "shock" when she got home last week to find Humphries down on one knee with "will you marry me" spelled out in rose petals.
Humphries, 26, gave Kardashian a 20.5-carat diamond ring.
On Twitter, the star said: "It's true... Kris and I are engaged! Couldn't be happier!"
Kim Kardashian is famous in America for her role in the E! reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
The series also features her sisters Khloe and Kourtney and brother Rob plus half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
Kardashian has also appeared in spin-off shows like Khloe and Lamar and Kourtney and Kim Take New York.
The 30-year-old was married to music producer Damon Thomas for four years but divorced in 2004.
