The couple say their marriage is "intact"

Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett have announced they are not splitting up.

The couple issued a statement after In Touch Weekly magazine reported they were set to divorce.

"Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of reports, the rumours circulating about our relationship are completely false," they said.

"We are still together. Our marriage is intact."

The couple married in 1997 after meeting on the set of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

They have two children together.

Their 13-year-old son, Jaden, starred in the Karate Kid with Jackie Chan last year.

Their daughter Willow, who is 10 years old, scored a top-ten hit with her debut single Whip My Hair.
