Selena Gomez to host MTV Europe music awards in Belfast

Teen actress and singer Selena Gomez is to host this year's MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) in Belfast in November.
The 19-year-old, who is going out with Canadian pop star Justin Bieber, will tweet and provide commentary for the MTV website as well as hosting.
The US star follows the likes of Justin Timberlake, Eva Longoria, Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg the award ceremony.
This year Lady Gaga leads the list of nominations with six including best live act and pop artist.
She's followed by Katy Perry and Bruno Mars.
Justin Bieber has been shortlisted in three categories.
The 2010 MTV EMAs were held in Madrid and were watched by 22.2 million people.
Lady Gaga walked away with the gongs for best pop, female and song.
She accepted her prizes via satellite while on tour.
The MTV Europe Awards are to be held at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on Sunday 6 November.
