Radiohead, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg for Coachella festival

Radiohead will headline this year's Coachella festival in April

Radiohead, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and The Black Keys will headline this year's Coachella in Indio, California.

British acts Pulp, Arctic Monkeys, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Kasabian will also play the festival.

It will feature appearances from freshly reunited rock bands At The Drive-In and Refused.

For the first time the event will take place over two weekends on 13-16 April and 20-22 April featuring the same line-up.

Grammy award-winning duo La Roux will also appear alongside UK dance acts SBTRKT, Calvin Harris and Nero.

Also on the bill are Swedish House Mafia, Bon Iver, The Shins, David Guetta, Florence & The Machine and Justice.

Known for bringing bands back together such as Pavement and Death From Above 1979 in recent years, 2012 will see Texan fivesome At The Drive-In reunite.

The band went on an "indefinite hiatus" in 2001 following the release of their critically acclaimed album Relationship Of Command.

In June 2011 Coachella announced that they would be running the festival across two weekend in 2012 to cope with public demand for tickets.

In a statement they said: "We also know some of you purchased through non legitimate sources and were inconvenienced, gouged or totally scammed.

"We hope that these changes will give everyone the opportunity to purchase directly from Coachella."

Tickets for April's festivals go on sale on Friday 13 January.

Around 90,000 places will be available for each weekend.

In 2011 Coachella was headlined by Kanye West, Kings of Leon and Arcade Fire.

It was first held in 1999 as a two-day event headlined by Beck, Tool and Rage Against the Machine.
