Cher Lloyd gets modelling contract with Agency Select

Former X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd has been signed up to work as a model.

Agency Select said they spotted the 18-year-old at the very start of her career for her "vulnerable quirky beauty".

The singer has been contracted for photo shoots mainly in the US and Europe.

In a statement Select said: "Her possibilities in the world of fashion are endless and her music is stirring up excitement in Europe and the USA."

The agency predicts Cher will occupy "the covers and pages of many fashion magazines".

"She prides herself on staying true to herself both in her music and in her style of dress and because of this, she is a photographers dream," Select said.

Cher Lloyd's current single Want U Back is at number 46 in the singles chart. Her debut track Swagger Jagger went straight to number one last year.

The singer's Sticks and Stones UK tour starts in March.
