Leeds and Reading Festival: Day Two

Alt-J are expected to draw a large crowd on the Festival Republic stage in Leeds this Saturday afternoon.
The band formed whilst they were studying together at the University of Leeds in 2007.
The Cure headline the main stage on Saturday night, preceded by Paramore.
Earlier in the week, Paramore's lead singer Hayley Williams was spotted watching Green Day's first UK gig in two years at the Shepherd's Bush Empire in London.

During an interview with Zane Lowe on Radio 1, the band said they couldn't confirm or deny the rumours but joked about playing their 1994 album Dookie.

Elsewhere at Leeds, Bombay Bicycle Club and You Me At Six are also due to perform on the main stage.
The Maccabees, whose second album Give In To The Wild was released to critical acclaim earlier this year, headline the NME/Radio 1 stage.
New York band Friends are also on today's bill. They made the longlist on the BBC's Sound of 2012 earlier this year.
Topping the bill at Reading on Saturday are Kasabian on the main stage and At The Drive-In on the NME/Radio 1 stage.
Huw Stephens will be presenting the early afternoon show on Radio 1 between 1-4pm from Reading Festival on Saturday and Sunday. BBC Three will also be showing live performances through the weekend and there will be more on the red button.
