Madeon to support Lady Gaga on her American tour

Madeon will be the main support act for Lady Gaga when she tours the US with her Born This Way Ball in 2013.

The producer and DJ will visit a variety of locations including Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New York.

The tour starts in January in Vancouver and will last for 17 dates.

Madeon's next single will be The City, which is released on Monday 8 October.

He has had previous top 40 hits with Icarus and Finale.

The 18-year-old French DJ, whose real name is Hugo Pierre Leclercq, has been tipped as one of the next big things in electronic music.

Madeon has played at some of the biggest festivals around the world this summer, starting at Coachella and taking in Radio 1's Hackney Weekend and Wireless in London.

He also supported Swedish House Mafia at their show at Milton Keynes Bowl in July.

Madeon's debut album is set for release in 2013.
