Beyonce is to headline a concert at London's Twickenham Stadium on 1 June, in aid of Chime For Change.

The Sound Of Change Live will feature performances from Florence + The Machine, Ellie Goulding and Rita Ora.

The charity aim is to raise funds and awareness to enable girls and women to feel empowered.

Beyonce said: "I'm excited for us to come together to bring the issues of education, health and justice for girls and women to the world stage."

Also taking to the stage will be John Legend and Timbaland, plus Haim and Iggy Izalea.

Speaking to Newsbeat at the launch of the event, John Legend said "I'm excited as a fan".

"If Beyonce will allow me I'd love to sing with her. Who knows what will happen."

Beyonce will play a number of times in the UK this year. The British leg of her Mrs. Carter world tour will begin in Birmingham on 26 April.

She'll also headline this year's V Festival in August.

Tickets for The Sound Of Change Live go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, 27 March.
